My name is Pete Sklaroff and I work as an online session guitarist recording guitar tracks/parts and instrumental arrangements for musical clients over the internet. This remote recording process helps avoid the need for the expensive and lengthy studio hire of past decades.
Remote audio recording also allows you to review session guitar tracks easily from the comfort and familiarity of your home studio and using your DAW of choice.

How Do I Order Some Tracks?
Contact Me To Discuss Your Track/Song/Project
Email me with your specific song/track or project requirements incl. timescale
Send me an MP3 of your song/track
This gives me an overview of your music and helps me prepare for the recording process.
Send me a WAV file of your track/song
You send me a full WAV of your song/track with info on tempo (bpm) and sample rate etc. I begin recording your tracks.
I send a full demo MP3 for your approval/comments
I record and then send you a full MP3 demo of the guitar tracks added to your original WAV file for approval/amendments etc.
Final Approval and Track Preparation
Following any requested changes in the demos, I then record and prepare the final WAV files for you.
Payment and Delivery of Guitar Tracks
We arrange payment and then I send over the final WAV files to you. Job done!
Completion of Recording
After completing all recordings and arranging payment, you will receive both the dry and effected guitar tracks via a download link. I usually employ popular file sharing sites like ‘Drop Box’ or ‘We Transfer’ for this. Please note that I am not a mixing engineer, so to produce a final product using the guitar tracks I have recorded, you will likely require a mixing engineer.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you charge for your tracks?
As no two recording sessions are ever the same, this will of course vary depending on the number and complexity of the tracks. Most songs I work on average out at around £90 per song. As a rough guide, this would be with between 4 – 8 individual guitar tracks on the song. (I always supply a quote before beginning any recording, so that you are happy with costs upfront etc.)
How long before I receive my tracks?
Unless the music is particularly complex or demanding to record, most recordings are completed in 2-3 days. I can always discuss timescales/deadlines in advance of beginning any work.
Do you supply dry tracks as well as effected?
Yes, you’ll receive both dry and effected guitar tracks and they will be panned centre. Therefore you will be able to re-amp the tracks at a later date if you wish to.
How many revisions can I have of a track?
I’m happy to undertake a small number of minor revisions for no extra cost, but this is usually limited by mutual agreement with the client before the recording begins.
Can you undertake larger projects with mutiple tracks etc?
Of course. If you contact me with some details of your project I’ll be happy to discuss it with you.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payments by PayPal or by direct bank transfer.
